SEM 5200 aquatic microphone
System for the capture and amplification of underwater sounds. Its large sensitivity and pass-band (15 Hz to 200 KHz) offers many uses, particularly in the security field for the detection of an approach, either under the water or on the surface, of a sensitive area (moored boats, strategic coasts etc.). For the audio band, the sounds are reproduced on an internal loudspeaker. Adjustable filters allow this band to be reduced. An adjustable threshold detector sets off an alarm when there are anormal sounds. An instrumentation output allows connection to a spectrum analyzer or a system to treat the received sounds. Power: by 220 V mains and external 24 VDC.
